This Richardson landmark located at an important intersection on one of the major thoroughfares through DFW desires to provide a welcoming, visitor-friendly image to an existing, imposing brick “fortress” that has no clear way-finding throughout its six buildings. The Master Plan removes two of the existing buildings in phases to make way for a new chapel, fellowship hall, children’s youth, and adult education spaces. A new transparent lobby becomes an organizing link through a reimagined campus that respects and enhances the iconic sanctuary.
