First Baptist Church Forney has seen tremendous growth through their 150 years in their community and ministries. With the growth projected to continue through the decade, the church was in need of a new multi-purpose facility. HH Architects Master Planned a new multi-purpose Worship and Gymnasium facility for FBC Forney’s Higher Ground ministry. The new building will be used for Sunday services, Wednesday night ministries, and adult and children’s sport ministries. It includes a large atrium lobby that allows the church’s members to fellowship in new ways and provides covered, climate controlled access to the existing buildings. The new addition broke ground in August of 2017 and was recently completed in April of 2019. The first Worship service was held on April 7th and the new facility was formally dedicated on May 5th. This new addition will help FBC Forney to continue to reach their ever-growing community.
